At FUHSD, we are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package for the health of you and your family. Open Enrollment is the time of year when you may make changes to your benefits coverage without a qualified life event. Any changes made during Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2025. 


All current elections will remain in effect until the end of 2024. 

What Do I Need to Do?

Verify your personal information and current elections are correct in Ease.


Make Changes or Confirm Coverage: We recommend reviewing your enrollments to confirm you and your eligible dependents are correctly enrolled in coverage. Make changes in Ease.


Make an HSA Election: If you are enrolling in the Anthem HDHP or Kaiser HDHP for 2025 and wish to make a personal HSA contribution above the funding provided by FUHSD, you must do so in Ease. Your current contribution will not continue into 2025.


Make an FSA Election:  You must make a new 2025 election for the Health and Dependent Care FSAs in Ease. Your current elections will not continue into 2025. 


Complete the Spousal/RDP Coverage Affidavit:

Each year you must testify if your enrolled spouse or registered domestic partner (RDP) has access to other employer sponsored medical coverage. Complete the Affidavit in Ease


IMPORTANT! You must finalize and sign your enrollment in Ease no later than 

Friday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m. If you do not finalize and sign your enrollment, your Open Enrollment elections will not be processed.

What If I Do Nothing?

Your personal HSA contribution will be $0.


Your Health and Dependent Care FSA elections will be $0.


All other enrollments will continue into 2025.


You will pay the spousal surcharge ($280) for your enrolled spouse/RDP.


Knowing the Cost of Your Healthcare

Despite the significant increase in the cost of healthcare, FUHSD is proud to say that contributions will not change in 2025. As a reminder, if you do not complete the Spousal/RDP Coverage Affidavit in Ease, you will be charged the higher surcharge of $280. 


Prorated contributions apply for part-time employees in addition to the tenthly costs shown below. View Ease to confirm your costs for 2025.
